During her teaching career, Linda Lampi received the Arrowhead Reading Award three times from Cal State San Bernardino. She specialized in teaching reading to all types of students from remedial learners to high achievers. She even taught the ABC names and sounds to preschool students as young as three years old. Mrs. Lampi loves to be creative while teaching reading. It all started when first graders entered her classroom and did not know their letters. Mrs. Lampi drew the letter “W” on the board and put shoes on it. She said, “Look, it is Walking W.” The concept of Consonant Creatures was born! From then on, Linda Lampi developed imaginative ways of bringing the letters to life making them easy and fun to learn. She is currently adding products to her very own Phonics Please website!
